Meet Jordyn Oleson, LAC — EMDR & Trauma Therapist

Jordyn Oleson is a trauma-informed therapist with a deep passion for helping others walk through healing and restoration. Her commitment to counseling is rooted in her own experience with trauma and the profound transformation she found through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. After surviving the cycle of emotional and physical abuse from a loved one, Jordyn found hope through her faith and the guidance of a compassionate therapist — a journey that inspired her to help others do the same.

Jordyn now specializes in EMDR therapy, offering both traditional weekly sessions and powerful 2- and 3-hour EMDR intensives for clients who want to work more deeply and efficiently through trauma. These extended sessions allow for focused healing, making a meaningful impact on those recovering from sexual assault, PTSD, domestic violence, phobias, complex grief, and other trauma-related issues.

She has extensive experience working with:

    •    Bipolar disorder & psychosis

    •    Borderline personality disorder (BPD)

    •    Couples and relationship issues

    •    Children ages 5 and up

Jordyn brings warmth, authenticity, and clinical excellence to every session. She works closely with clients to build safety, restore a sense of control, and help them rewrite their stories with courage and clarity.

Jordyn earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Biblical emphasis from Grand Canyon University and plans to continue her education by pursuing a doctorate in the future.

Born in Central Oregon, Jordyn now lives in Arizona with her wonderful husband, five-year-old stepdaughter, and their newborn. Outside the office, she enjoys church, camping, off-roading in their Razor, water adventures, and quality time with family.

She currently sees clients in person at the North Scottsdale and North Phoenix offices, as well as through telehealth. Jordyn is available Monday through Friday and some Saturdays and is working under the direct supervision of Tara Dorman, LPC, an approved clinical supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
